David Lloyd Welcome Package

Part of my A Level graphics design coursework consisted of designing prototype products and packaging for a local business. I created a welcome package for new members joining David Lloyd sports club.

I used the SolidWorks software package to create CAD models from my developed drawings of the packaging and contents. The welcome package prototype included an exclusive deodorant can, membership card, guest pass and club facilities review booklet.

I made all the prototype products and packaging at my local sixth form. The processes used to create the parts replicated those that would be used on an industrial scale. This consisted of using the wood lathe, metal lathe, pillar drill, vacuum former, laser cutter, CNC machine, belt sander and a few other finish techniques.

Here is the final prototype which new members would receive upon subscribing to David Lloyd’s sport membership as a gift to welcome them to the club.
